Easter holidays

At the start of this season, the Château de Maulnes will become "The Sanctuary of the Goddess Diana" and will host numerous activities: for Easter, its traditional egg hunt, and throughout the Easter holidays, the puzzle trail "The Quest for the Sacred Arrow".

"The Golden Egg Hunt" on April 4th, 5th and 6th at 3:30 pm

Will you be able to find the sacred eggs of the goddess Diana hidden in the gardens of the Château de Maulnes?

On April 4th, 5th, and 6th (Easter weekend) at 3:30 pm, come and participate in the golden egg hunt in a historic location in Burgundy, near the Yonne, Aube, and Côte d'Or departments. Thousands of eggs have invaded the castle garden, and it's up to you to find them! Don't forget your basket to collect all the hidden eggs!

And this year, in addition to the chocolate eggs, Diane will have hidden her sacred eggs... the golden eggs that contain lovely surprises.

An ideal activity for young people and families, to discover the castle in a fun way during the Easter holidays.

A treasure hunt for everyone!

For centuries, Actaeon, the guardian stag, has watched over the sanctuary of the goddess Diana and protected the animals of the forest and the castle. But today, Actaeon is very worried… Diana's golden arrow has disappeared! Without this magical object, Diana can no longer protect the animals of the sanctuary. Danger is imminent! That's why Actaeon needs your help: keep your eyes peeled, follow the clues, and solve the riddles to find the sacred arrow.

A fascinating treasure hunt through the castle, specially decorated for the occasion, with three levels of difficulty for children of all ages. It's the perfect opportunity for a fun and educational family experience, ideal for the Easter holidays!

An activity for families

For Easter weekend, the Château de Maulnes, a Renaissance gem, invites young and old to participate in a grand Easter egg hunt in its historic park.

Thousands of chocolate eggs have been hidden in the castle grounds: grab your basket and go hunting for them!

Two separate spaces are planned to ensure an experience suitable for everyone:

• a space reserved for children under 8 years old

• a space dedicated to children over 8 years old

But that's not all! The goddess Diana, a mythological figure associated with hunting, has also hidden around thirty sacred eggs in the park. Some of these golden eggs contain wonderful surprises, including the chance to return to the Château de Maulnes for free throughout 2026.

This Easter family activity is ideal for discovering the castle in a fun way during the spring holidays. Visitors can also extend the experience with the spring treasure hunt, an immersive activity that allows them to explore the castle through the story of the goddess Diana.
